15 days until we celebrate our swimmers and their successes this season!
Our WLBF AGM will be held in the Gibraltar Room starting at 5:30 pm on June 25th, 2025. While the parents are going over the "team's business", swimmers and coaches will be outside (weather permitting) getting team photos taken. Swimmers: This year’s awards event has a GALA theme — dress to impress! Parents, we will be holding our elections for next season's Board vacancies during the AGM also.
After the AGM, we will all gather in the Gibraltar Room for a potluck dinner. The Board will have drinks (water, etc) and will provide all the plates and utensils for the entire team. If you or your family members have food concerns or allergies, please bring something you would enjoy to eat. If you are making certain dietary dishes, please label your contributions as such (i.e. gluten-free, vegan, peanut-free, etc.). I would also suggest that everyone puts their name on their serving dishes/utensils if you want them back at the end of the night.
I have included a list of food items for each swim group below:
Seniors 2&3: Dessert
Juniors 1/2/3 & Senior 1s: Main Dishes
Super Novice & Novice: Sides, Salads and/or Appies
But if you have a special dish you want to share - be our guest :)
After we are all filled up, we will celebrate our team! We hope to acknowledge all of our swimmers and coaches on this special night. We will have our Swimathon awards also - so attendance is highly recommended!
